We are Miriam Durán and Dany Vilá, the creators of Mairim Universe. The project grew from the meeting of our backgrounds in education, music, and storytelling for children.
From an early age, Miriam found in music a way to tell stories and in books a doorway to other worlds. Her professional journey has been closely connected to education for more than thirty years, as both a teacher and a school director. This experience, together with her passion for writing, reading, and childhood, inspired the characters, stories, and songs that now form part of Mairim Universe.
Dany is a musician, arranger, composer, musical director, and singer with more than forty years of professional experience. Throughout his career, he has worked alongside renowned performers and led a variety of musical projects. His artistic sensitivity and experience allow each story to develop its own musical identity and each character to come to life through sound.
At Mairim Universe, we bring our perspectives and experience together to create a distinctive world of our own. Miriam develops the stories, characters, lyrics, and educational dimension of the project, while Dany contributes the composition, arrangements, performance, and musical direction. Together, we shape each work from its earliest idea through to its final realization.
We share the belief that children deserve content created with sensitivity, imagination, and respect. Mairim Universe reflects our way of bringing children closer to music, storytelling, and art, while inviting families and educators to discover this world alongside them.
To create original works for children that inspire imagination, creativity, and enjoyment of music and storytelling, combining artistic quality, sensitivity, and a thoughtful educational perspective.
To establish Mairim Universe as an internationally recognized creative world that connects with children, families, and educators across cultures through original characters, songs, and stories.
